A significant part of St. John’s history was given some additional love and attention this year.
A relatively new tradition at St. John’s Home is being recognized as a unique holiday activity throughout the area. Now in its second year, the Tree of Thanks gives residents and their family members an opportunity to recognize a staff member or group of employees that have made an impact on their lives.
After a week of decorating ornaments, the Tree of Thanks was unveiled on December 6 in the front lobby of the Hastings building. Be sure to check it out during your next visit! In the meantime, see WROC Channel 8’s coverage of the ceremonial lighting.
