Residents at St. John’s Home took to the runway during the “Gorgeous Grandmas” fashion show. They celebrated their style and self-expression with music by George DeMott.

Advancing Nursing Care 

St. John's Home Lead Nurse Educator Jessica Schiffhauer was featured in the Rochester Business Journal discussing continuing education in nursing. St. John’s Home launched an updated interactive map designed to make navigation easier for residents, guests, and employees. The enhanced tool offers a more user-friendly experience by helping individuals find locations at our St. John's Home Highland Avenue campus more easily.

A Life of Serving

After retiring as a social worker at St. John’s Home, Ellendeer Berkowitz returned as a volunteer to continue supporting residents through companionship and connection. Her dedication reflects a lifelong commitment to making a difference in the lives of others and serves as an example to others.

St. John’s Home residents enjoyed memorable visits to the 2026 Rochester Lilac Festival, which included taking in the beautiful blooms, delicious local food, and warm spring weather. The outing offered residents a chance to connect, explore, and celebrate the season together. It is a beloved tradition every year.
