Nurse Mentorship is Key

Shannon Hutchinson is one of the many seasoned nurses supporting St. John's enhanced assisted living residents. Prior to coming to the Hawthorne, she spent 12 years working her first nursing job at the Rehabilitation Center at St. John's Home.
"I was proud of myself," says Tanya Henderson, St. John's Employee Health Nurse, when looking back on her decision to go back to school to become a nurse in her forties. Today, she is proud to encourage others to follow a similar path.
