Residents and staff at St. John's Home once again hosted a Trick-or-Treat Extravaganza and shared an afternoon of fun with neighbors from Generations Child Care. See the 13 WHAM News coverage!
"Moving to a senior retirement community at 71 may seem young," says Beth Kosoff, a resident at St. John's Meadows. "But moving in 'early' has many advantages, including a full, active social life."
A recent St. John's Rehabilitation Guest noticed that certified nursing assistant Mulu Abraha was "always smiling" and took great pride in her work. "With Mulu, I didn't have to ask for anything," he said.
“They teach you in nursing not to form bonds, but that just doesn’t work for me,” says Catina Acevedo, Program Assistant at Hawthorne at St. John's Meadows. "For me, the residents are everything."
